Iran Launched its Own Youtube (The Biggest Online Video Library)

After the release of the Controversial Film on Islam "Innocence of Muslims" on Youtube many Muslim Republics Like Pakistan,Saudia Arabia,Iraq,Palestine,Iran etc. banned Youtube access in their Countries.
Later on 3 December 2006, Iran blocked YouTube, along with several other sites, after declaring them "immoral". The YouTube ban came after a video was posted online that appears to show an Iranian soap opera star having sex.The block was later lifted and then reinstated after the 2009 Iranian presidential election. In 2012, Iran reblocked YouTube, along with Google after the controversial film 'Innocence of Muslims' trailer was released on YouTube.,but blocking such a big online Collection of video library is definitely a loss to educational and communicational link.keeping in view at this aspect,The Irani Republic has decided to Launch a website consisting of Millions of Videos by Every registered users just on the pattern of Youtube.

While focusing the fact that it’s against the law to sell VPNs in Iran, a huge part of the country’s Internet users uses them to wriggle around filtering. Mehr.IR is seen as part of the Iranian plans to create its own working Intranet instead of allowing people to connect to the worldwide web. just as North Korea did.
Mehr  meaning “affection” in Persian language, is created for Persian speaking Internet users. Its aim is to promote and cultivate the local culture. At the moment, the URL YouTube.IR is redirecting to Fars TV, while Mehr, located at http://ir.mehr.ir, appears to be down. Anyway, the service is expected to share content specific to the country, including music videos. Iranian users will also be able to submit their own material.
